- As a manager at PTS I have much power because it is a regulatory authority that has the tools to regulate and intervene in the market. And by being able to intervene as we do, it is great values at stake. So it is clear that there is power in it. The law gives her the tools to exercise power but she says she is not attracted by power itself. - I feel I have a lot of confidence and I affect the market in a strong way, and that gives me power. But the power itself is completely uninteresting. What is important is how to influence and manages the mission. Marianne Treschow has been a PTS-chief since the summer of 2004. The position is to say the least exposed and Marianne Treschow often receive much criticism. - It is natural that one is exposed when dealing with such large values and to intervene in a market in the way that we do. Often decisions are such that we get both positive and negative criticism, depending on who suffer. But it is allright to get criticism, part of the job. How do you turn a bad day at work? - I can not recall that I have experienced one day when I longed to go home. I've certainly had a low profile, or become excited or so, but I have never thought that this is not what I want to do in life. It's fun to go to work, there's always something iwm quote good.
